Infertility
In women, in childbearing age, body tries for conception every month. The hormonal cycle goes on repeating. Maximum fertility age is between 18 to 30 years of age. After this age, fertility gradually goes on decreasing after this age
During investigation of the couple for fertility, on male side, sperm count, their motility, morphology are important.
On female side, follicular development in ovaries, fallopian tubal health, fimbria, tubal patency, endometrial thickness, nature of cervical mucus is important. These are studied in non-invasive way by transvaginal sonography & by invasive way, detail visual study is done by Hysteroscopy & Laparoscopy. In poly cystic ovaries, ovarian drilling is done.
